Humanyx is the most recent spin off from Panorama Research, Inc. (PRI). PRI is a privately-owned biomedical research and development holding company. PRI is based in 15,000 sq. ft. of state-of the-art research laboratory and office space located in the heart of Silicon Valley, California. In 2006 PRI plans to move to a new renovated 30,000 sq. ft. facility in Sunnyvale, CA.

PRI has a staff of 20 biomedical scientists (15 with MD and/or PhD degrees) with expertise in medicinal and organic chemistry, pharmacology, molecular and cell biology, plant molecular biology, oncology, immunology, infectious diseases and medicine. PRI has discovered and served as an incubator for a number of technologies and pharmaceutical projects that subsequently were licensed to development partners or incorporated into PRI portfolio companies. PRI receives revenues of >$1.5M annually from royalties, reagent sales and various contracts and grants from the USA National Institutes of Health, the Department of Energy, and the National Science Foundation.
